Golden Leaf Energy

Golden Leaf Energy, Inc. (GLE) is a producer and distributor of alternative fuels. The company operates a 2.2 million gallons per year (MGY) biodiesel plant in Harvey, Louisiana. Our mission is to help reduce our nation’s dependence on petroleum energy by developing and building a series of strategically placed urban micro-refineries which will produce clean, renewable energy – specifically biodiesel. GLE was founded by Troy Clark, a chemical engineer and seasoned entrepreneur, and Dr. Calvin Mackie, a PhD mechanical engineer, former engineering professor, lecturer, inventor, and author.

Also, GLE manufactures LA-5000®, an environmentally friendly lubricant at the bio-facility. The plant has an annual capacity of 6.3 million gallons per year. LA-5000® is patent pending, proprietary lubricant technology developed by GLE. LA-5000® is also a product platform technology. It can serve as a starting point for multiple products which can serve several markets and a wide range of applications.
